Ideal for macro photography, portraits and distance shooting, this 120mm (full frame equivalent) Olympus macro lens offers 1:1 magnification and a close focusing distance (18.8cm) ideal for capturing flowers, insects and other tiny details. Colours are rich and true, and images sharp right across the frame thanks to a 13-element 10-group optical assembly that includes ED, HR and E-HR glass.

The Olympus 60mm macro lens' fast f/2.8 maximum aperture delivers creamy bokeh and impressive low-light performance. Shallow depth of field shots are easily achieved with the aperture wide open, while at its narrowest f/22 extent the lens provides excellent depth of field in a scene. Meticulous optical design refines every image detail right through to clear circular bokeh at f/2.8, which macro shooters especially will appreciate.
Quick, Accurate, MSC (Movie and Still Compatible) AF
Autofocus in the Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm lens is impressively quick and accurate. A focus limiting switch delivers more speed and control at any specified focal range (1:1, close-up, normal or landscape) by preventing your AF from hunting when close to a subject in low light. For precision macro shots a distance/magnification indicator is provided in a window on the lens body.
The Olympus 60mm macro uses MSC (Movie and Still Compatible) focusing technology for dampening AF noise. As a result you get near-silent lens focusing, which makes this Olympus macro an ideal lens for shooting movies and photographing wildlife that could be frightened away by AF noise.
